Description:

------- Lyrics here ---------- I translated the Russian singer's Zemfira's song called AIDS (SPID) and sang it. I didn't make the video, but I decided the most appropriate video would be from Angels in America, where people's lives are intertwined through their fight with the disease. (Note: most of the time translation is pretty accurate, but I have allowed myself to make it free at times.) I took off the earphones and heard to the wind Coming through open doors of the empty bus A horrible secret, on which the wind let me in: That there are only 24 hours left for us. And you have AIDS And that means we're gonna die You have AIDS And that means we're gonna die You have AIDS And that means we're gonna die You have... So that means we... Will swallow pills on the hospital bed Won't think about tomorrow, won't turn on television Look for the Heavens on the map instead And then if we're lucky, we'll get the visas. But you have AIDS And that means we're gonna die You have AIDS And that means we're gonna die You have AIDS And that means we're gonna die You have... So that means we... Did not pay back our debts and took off Good bye, mom, the keys are next door. I blew on the eye lids until they cooled off And the willows cried, as we marked their core.
