I got to ask.... HOW DID YOU DO THIS!!!?
__________________________________________________
MrFleck ::: Favorites  2006-11-10 09:03:26

Hello z122643, you have to modify the stock version of SH3. Some adjustments to the speed of the boat, the power of the engine and some other minor tweaks. After that it's only about timing to get the jumps right. Send me a pm if you need more info. Cheers! Mr. Fleck

Mr. Fleck! Do you mind posting a recipy to how you did this in the video-thread at subsim? I really have to understand this, since its vital in U-Disaster 3, hehe.

Actualy, I am curious on one bit. I know that the submarines must have a maximum crush-depth. Did you get around this somehow or was it still a possible factor?
__________________________________________________
MrFleck ::: Favorites  2006-11-21 03:20:47

Hi Wooboo, I got around this by setting the max. crush-depth to 500 meters. Below 500 meters the sub is not rendered any more, so it's useless to set the depth deeper. But only the underwater rolls were a problem concerning the max. depth since these rolls loose "height" rapidly. Every jump I made recovered at 200 meters the latest. Cheers! Mr. Fleck

www.myspace.com/alchemamusic CHECK IT FOO! My band's website is: http://www.alchemamusic.com No I don't have epillepsy, even though it looks like it when I play haha. I use a single bass drum pedal, so I kinda wobble around to get it to do what I want hehe. This is old, but I just decided to upload it for the hell of it until I make a new one. It's just random stuff and I know it's not well organized and it's pretty sloppy. I'll make a better one soon. Pedal: Cheap $50 Pearl (the ones that came out before the Eliminators). Snare: Yamaha Anton Fig Signature Drum Mix and Engineering: Project A.a.r.o.d. Sound

not bad! cymbals sound a bit tinny tho: but the snare work is pretty good

this dude is good, but his style is quite unorthodox. I think if you gave him a complicated beat to play that's written out he wouldn't be able to at all. but he's good still.

Bluargh ::: Favorites  2007-04-13 18:52:58

You're talented, no question about that but I think the solo is too "busy". It's to much of everything and I don't really like that. But as I said, you can really play.

you look like you can play pretty well but this wasn't some of your best work i'm sure. This sounded like you got reallllly high and started drumming...you were going allll over the place with no real linking between beats. It was like a schitzophrenic on crack playing the durms.

Awesome solo mate. Remember its best to do a drum solo as a story. Start with an intro, fundamentals, then variate on them until you get to the highest point, the climax (pull off lightning fast up here), then slow decline into awesome finish outro. Good job with the video.

generatrix999 ::: Favorites  2007-04-28 20:53:40

If you wnat to tighten up your groove, shorten the distance of your beater-head to the kick. You bass drumm is playing catch up to your licks/groove. If you can't handle you can try cranking up the bass drum head (get a single ply). You'll sound much tighter. The left ft clave is cool, but pointless.

http://www.ezyrewards.com/?id=221989 Live Rock group from Sudbury, ON playing at the Green Room in Montreal, QC. This is part four of five with new band's first gig; Camera man Jason Belanger is artistic in many ways. The band was together for 8-9 days and only had so much time to reherse. They picked a few unfamiliar songs and just went with it. The original recording is done by a new camera and had not been used or studied very much, so the quality of this video is somewhat poor. This show was put on by some students and a teacher at Trebass college in Montreal. John Allen, a graduate at the institute found this band lingering in a dark bar in the basement of a Montreal mall. Please respect the musician's secret identity and dont copy the band name for your own purposes. If you'd like to order an unreleased album on cd or tape of this band, contact me. Also, this video in high quality is available on DVD. Thanks for watching. Its a form of Kata guruma. I couldn't see it clearly, but i think what he did was to grip his opponents leg in another way than the standard K.-G. And he didn't throw him right over his shoulders, i think he picked him up and rolled forward.
