Yes but people say that Kobes 81 points was more impressive thasn Wilts 100. And with no rules you could just camp in the paint and wait for the missed shot. Or get blocks even though they would be considered goaltending in our time.

Kobe will never have Jordan's grace and genuineness on and off the court. If Kobe hits a teammate with a pass for an assist, watch his reaction on his face and you'll see that he just sees how great his pass was, and that without his pass the team didn't have a prayer. He is all about himself. Jordan didn't have to brag, you didn't see him get constantly cocky over his own accomplishments. When he deferred to the team, it was genuine. Kobe is a copycat. Jordan is an original.

Let me also add, that if Kobe is such a great player and as good as Jordan, then the Lakers should have completely destroyed the Detroit Pistons in '04, when he played alongside of Shaquille O'Neal, Karl Malone, Gary Peyton, etc. Instead, they barely survived getting swept. 'Nuff said.

Kobe is a great athlete....but Michael Jordan is the man. He can do anything he wanted to. he played with heart and so much intensity. I'm sorry for Kobe Bryant, but his chances of being better than Jordan is so low. I mean do you even know WHAT KOBE HAS TO DO TO EVEN MATCH MIKE in his career? And what about that 2004 NBA finals. Kobe was playing with THE GLOVE, THE MAILMAN, and SHAQ. But still, they didn't win. they lost 4 to freaking 1!!! Jordan would have never let that happen.
