Description: Episode 30 So Kevin drives to the hospital and finds Shyann's parents in the waiting room. Nick: is everything alright? Mrs. Scott: [stands up] well the doctor says that her brain waves are getting stronger. Nick: that's great! Mrs. Scott: He also said that her brainwaves are stronger when you, Andrea and jade are in the room. The girls are already in there. Nick: [looks at Joe and Kevin] Joe: go ahead; she needs you [smiles] Nick: [Nick smiles back at Joe and walks into the room] Jade: hey nick Nick: hey [Gives a light wave as h closes the door] Andrea: Did you like your party? Nick: yeah, it was nice Andrea: [smiles] good Jade: [sighs] I cant believe this is happening. Nick: [bows his head] I know Andrea: I could barely get through this week without her. I can't imagine my whole life without her. Jade: [hugs her] me too... Nick: [brings head back up] do you mind if I get a moment alone with her? Andrea: [lets go of jade and looks at nick] of course not? Jade and Andrea walk towards the door Andrea: [pats nick on his shoulder] we'll be right outside if you need us. Nick: [nods his head] ok The door closes leaving just Shyann and nick alone. Nick walks over and sits on the edge of the bed. Nick: well...I'm really glad I met you Shyann, and when I'm with you I feel like...like a little boy on Christmas, excited and happy. I know that's a little corny but that's how you make me feel, that and so much more. [Takes a minute to think] Nick: I love you Shyann and I'd give anything to see your beautiful smile again or hear that laugh. Nick Then sits in the silence for a while. He suddenly feels Shyann's hand touch his and hears her voice. Shyann: I love you too. Nick: [in shock] Shyann! [Gives her a hug] I thought I'd never see you again. Shyann: I thought so too...when I saw those lights it's like I saw my future. What I could have been and what we were. Nick: [smiles] I'm so happy to se those eyes. Shyann: [smiles] and I'm glad to hear that's wonderful voice again. Nick: [puts his hand on her cheek and rubs it softly as he looks in her eyes] After Several Minutes Nick calls everybody to tell them the good news Mrs. Scott: honey! You scared me I thought you were gone forever. Shyann: [giggles] sorry mom Mrs. Scott: I'm so happy you're awake. Shyann: [smiles] me too. Kevin [Shyann's brothers]: I wouldn't say this usually but I'm glad your back sis. Mr. Scott: [hits Kevin on the arm] Kevin! Kevin [Shyann's Brothers] ouch!! Shyann: [laughs] its ok dad I know what he means. Andrea: I really missed you shy [smiles] Shyann: I missed you too [looks around] I missed all of you. Doctor: [walks in] well it looks like someone has woken up. Shyann: [smiles] Doctor: it's good to have you back Mrs. Scott Shyann: thank you Doctor: well Shyann needs some rest well not that she hasn't had enough already [the only one that laughs] Shyann: [whispers to nick] was that supposed to be funny. Nick: I think so... Doctor: oh tough crowd...well um I'm going to go now but only a couple more minutes. Shyann: So what did I miss? Andrea: well Sheridan and I have recently started dating. Shyann: I'm so happy for you. Kevin [stands their sad] Andrea: [smiles] thanks Joe: well nick just turned 17 yesturday. Shyann: you did...I'm sorry I missed it. Nick: that's ok...my wish came true [grabs Shyann's hand and smiles] Shyann [smiles back] |
