One day I was walking into a retro records store, and I found Hall & Oates' "Big Bam Boom" LP, which features this song. It was a shame I didn't have a turrtable because I might have bought it. This was one of my favorite songs from that album, and from the 80's in general. LONG LIVE THE 80'S!!!

Lord, I haven't heard this song in decades. What a great tune it was...and still is. One of those timeless songs. Thanks for posting it here.

Another beautiful song and another beautiful hair from Daryl Hall. Can't get enough of these guys.

Great video.......their videos started to get more sophisticated and less cheesy around this time. (Higher budgeted, too). Just wish you'd included the very beginning (and end) of this video, but no biggie.

This was one of their most underrated songs.

Ms. Greeneyez: I am inclined to agree; I was 21 when this song came out back in 1985, but it was so underplayed that I never heard it until 2003! This is, by far, my most favorite H & O song ever!

Lurch: What was the beginning anyway? I saw a car's side-view mirror briefly before they cut right to the video.

Hey, this is my favorite Hall&Oates song too pretty much, and I was 20 when it came out in 1985!

Actually, this was definitely my favorite Hall&Oates song in April/May and on in 1985 and beyond, but I also like METHOD of Modern Love, I Can't Go for That, and many others!

the beginning shows the band members getting out of a bus in the rain, then Daryl walks away from the other band members and onto the stage by himself.

Back when this song was released, I monitored the top 40 charts regularly. I was disappointed this song didn't crack the Top 10 on the Billboard pop chart. It was my 2nd favorite release from "Big, Bam, Boom."
