Description:

I think what I'm doing is I'm making it harder and harder for theists to claim rationality. They can believe what they want, and they can fool themselves into thinking it's rational, but they can't fool us. The song is 'Dear Grandma and Grampa', by the band Tortoise, from the album Millions Now Living Will Never Die.

It's morally wrong to cripple the brains of your children, and indoctrinating them with religion will do that. If denying atheism does not entail any immoral actions on your part, such as the above-mentioned indoctrination, or any political actions based on faith and not truth, then no, it's not immoral to deny atheism. Deny your heart out.

people believe what makes the most sense to them. everything considered and it comes down to that.

'we don't know' is the stance that science takes with evolution. it doesn't take that stance with god, because that conception, that 'god of the gaps' is just a guess, and not one that's very plausible. if god is not self contradictory, he's at least very unlikely.

i agree: evolution doesn't disprove god. What god is, though, and has always been, is a GOD OF THE GAPS. Evolution just pushed him out of one more gap. when i say 'god of the gaps', i mean people believe in him because he's an immediate explanation. zeus, for example, explained lightning. science pushed him out of that gap. as long as god is a square circle, self-contradictory entity, i don't think he's possible.

considering all we know about god comes from books written by people that have been changed god can be vastly different then we first think. for all we know god is really a concious form of matter like in phillip pullmens books. the truth is, we dont know, never will, and the argument is futile and there not worth arguing over because as i said, we dont know.

what evidence do you have? absolutly none. what you consider evidence isnt as substantiol as you might think. the same goes for theists. atheists say there isnt a possibility of god, theists say there isnt a possibility of no god, but niether groups of people actually think about what they base there claims on and take it at base level. take evolution, people say it disproves god, but in reality it dosint disprove anything.(cont)

atheists havent proven or disproven anything. its been proven the bible has been changed, but not that god dosint excists. just because science claims a different version of events then in the bible dosint disprove god. dosint prove it either, but in reality there is an equel possibility if you follow those grounds that there is no evidence for either. wich there isent. as socrates said, "all i know is that i know nothing".

Doesn't appear to be any of that kind of stuff on their site. It's just that that phrase in the context of a video by an atheist ancap was too much circumstantial evidence to ignore.
