In combination with virtual reality, haptics technology is used to train people for tasks requiring hand-eye coordination or provide humans with a virtual experience where realities are blurred and distorted. Could humans become too reliant on technology leaving them in a permanent state of devolution? In the dark and disturbing metaphorical film 'Haptics', machines are efficient and in control, humans are slothful and devolved and realities are virtual and blurred.
