The rest of us live in the real world; effort is what keeps you alive. Delegating, even in abstention, what you have a duty to preform is perilous. aaron0883 ::: Favorites A few thousand is several thousand times myself, and even if I was the deciding vote it wouldn't have really changed my life. I live in CA so it is very unlikely that anything I could do would ever really just make it so if I had several thousand friends to help it would make a difference. bbburton ::: Favorites Senate election 2006, Testor versus Burns, decided by a few thousand votes. Many elections are decided on even fewer votes. It's not my intent to provide you with each and every situation where national elections are decided on narrow margins. Many state elections are decided by a handful of votes. aaron0883 ::: Favorites Well. To that I would say ... whatever makes you happy. However. I have never seen anything that can prove one or 100 votes matter except in very small elections. The notion that one or 100 votes get no attention, and presumably do not count, has been proven over and over again to be without merit.
