A local mortuary flew 3,000 flags to honor the lives lost on 9/11/01. The music accompanying is Crosby, Stills and Nash "Find the Cost of Freedom". This family will try to live under oppression, just as you do. But what will happen as soon as a war starts with that country? They might be killed at some random bombing, shot because they walked at the wrong spot. Family calling them from the US will automatically be suspected terrorists. I used to think that removing Saddam was maybe just a question of pragmatism, but at least would free the Iraqi people. I think differently now, as the only freedom the Iraqi people gained is to be killed even more randomly than before. At no point did this war have the wellbeing of any citizen in mind.
