Description:
Our central character leaves his stoop party at dusk to coasting down a hill on his bicycle to the liquor store, passing several memorable scenes on his way down. Once he's purchased the drinks, he continues to coast down, but mysteriously, he passes the same memorable scenes that should now be up the hill. He arrives unruffled at the gathering from which he originally set off. Miller: genuinely easy.

I live on the street in hilly San Francisco where this was filmed and saw it happen. They set up two identical stores... one above the house and one below. While he's in the store that's below the house, they seamlessly spliced the tape and moved him to the one above, from where he continues riding downhill to the original location of the house.
